Oregon Arts & Film’s concept began in late 2025, and by Jan. 1, 2026 it was official. Launched by a collective of artists and individuals fed up with the lack of action by other nonprofits to fulfill areas of need, we decided that if we wanted to see change we needed to do it ourselves.
At Oregon Arts & Film, we believe that creativity is not a luxury—it is a vital force that strengthens communities, inspires individuals, and connects people across cultures and experiences. Our mission is rooted in the idea that access to the arts should be inclusive, equitable, and deeply embedded in every corner of Oregon.
We are committed to enhancing arts and creative opportunities by supporting artists, filmmakers, and storytellers at every stage of their journey. Whether it’s through funding, mentorship, education, or community partnerships, we strive to remove barriers that prevent creative voices from being seen and heard.
